Both of my bosses are on "vacation" this week, at a big conference down in Anaheim, CA so that leave me at the office all by myself. For 5 days. While most people would find this a relaxing alternative, I have absolutely nothing to do! I find myself online shopping, reading blogs online, watching crap reality television, and just general mind numbing activities. Not to mention today is a "holiday" and everyone thinks we are closed. It took me 9 whole minutes to get to work. On a normal Monday it would have taken me 28-35 minutes. Not that I should be complaining but when I hopped on the freeway and saw that, I knew it was going to be a sloooow day.
Went to the hot springs on Saturday. It was a blast, the hike was a lot longer than anticipated but totally worth it. We ended up not camping afterward and just drove back to my apartment instead. Then on Sunday we headed up to a small bakery a few towns away and met up with my besties and their boys and we had an amazing breakfast. After J and I ran up to REI and picked up some killer hiking boots for $9.38 from the members only garage sale they had going on. I would post pictures of the weekend but J can't figure out how to resize the photos and I am too lazy to do it as well! Just imagine lots of snow, two side by side hot tubs, in the middle of the woods, over looking a rocky ravine. And sun. Lots of sun. That was our weekend haha.
